Best Ways To Reach Chopta From Delhi



  • BY BUS: Catch a direct bus from Delhi to Guptkashi or Ukhimath, if available as these are seasonal bus services, so check first. From there shared cab or own taxi to Chopta. (Chopta is just 45–48 km away from Guptkashi & Ukhimath.) But if the bus is not available you can always follow this route from Delhi, direct bus to Haridwar/ Rishikesh then a bus to Rudraprayag or Ukhimath. From there shared a taxi/ jeep or hire a taxi for your own till Chopta. 


  • BY TRAIN:  The nearest railway station is “Haridwar or Dehradun Railway Station”. Book your tickets from Delhi to Haridwar. Catch a bus to Rishikesh then to Rudraprayag or Ukhimath. And from there, hire a cab or get a shared taxi till Chopta.


  • BY AIR: The Nearest Airport is “Jollygrant Airport”, Dehradun. From there you can hire a direct cab to “Chopta”. Otherwise, you can use Uttarakhand bus services from Rishikesh to Rudraprayag or Ukhimath and then a direct cab to Chopta.
